1965/66 - division three
about the programme
Another season for the 16-page pocket-sized programme, although it turned out to be the final one in that format. 23 league issues, plus 2 in the League Cup and 2 in the FA Cup. Add in 3 friendly programmes, and it was a busy campaign for the programme team. The friendly programmes were notable for the hosting of Czechoslovakian side Spartak Brno. This season saw the introduction of substitutes (just the one, for injured players only) and on 28 August, Jim Oliver became Albion’s first playing substitute when he came on for Bill Cassidy.
