Back down to 12 pages for this campaign with the exception of one (v Exeter City, 24 September) at 8 pages and two (v Millwall 15 April and Bournemouth & BA 22 April) at 4 pages. The season-opener against Crystal Palace has a few blank spaces for advertisers. A big change for this season is the back page advertisier, with Hove Greyhound Stadium taking over from the Grand, a place they were to occupy for many years. Billy Lane was up to nearly 2 pages of news and views. Even in the 4-pager, he managed just over a page! The Boxing Day game against Newport County was postponed, with the programme used for the re-arranged date just a day later.
