other memorabilia

As well as programmes, fanzines and handbooks, a great deal of other memorabilia has been produced over the years. The Albion Museum - formally at The Amex and now looking for a new home - hosted a large number of items, from scale models of The Goldstone Ground and Withdean Stadium, to a turnstile rescued from The Goldstone just before the bulldozers moved in.

Many fans have created their own shrines to the Albion. Have a look at The Brighton Room on Facebook, Alan Willard’s personal crusade to assemble as much Albion-related material as possible! Also worth a look is Phil Shelley’s amazing collection of Albion shirts, that you can view HERE.

I have always collected programmes but over the years, I have assembled quite a few other bits and pieces and like the true collector I am, I can’t bring myself to throw these items away, much to the frustration of my wife! Here are some links to some other items in my collection

cigarette cards

Among the literally millions of cigarette cards issued over the years (and the related issues from confectionary companies, newspapers etc.), Albion players do feature. My collection is by no means a comprehensive list, but here are a few. Click on the image for a scan of the reverse of the card.
